Bomb-injured BGB man died at CMH

A member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) died in hospital Monday morning, who was wounded by cocktail hurled by drug-peddlers Saturday night during an anti-narcotic drive in India-Bangladesh border area, BGB headquarters said in a press statement.
The critically injured BGB member, Md. Akmal Hossain, was under treatment in Critical Care Unit of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in capital city Dhaka.
During BGB’s Saturday night drive at Pach Vulot border in north-western Jessore district an accused drug-peddler was also died.
Besides, four drug-peddlers were arrested while 3 cocktails and 300 bottles of phensedyl were also recovered in the drive.
The dead body of Habildar Hossain is sending to his native home, Khordkomorpur Village at Mithapukur Upazia in Rangpur in due arrangement by BGB, the statement said.
