Awami League activist murdered after abduction in Bandarban

An activist of ruling Awami League was shot dead by unidentified miscreants after abduction in the Sadar upazila of Bandarban district on early Sunday.
The deceased Kya Ching Thowai Marma, 27, son of Ta U Thowai Marma, was an activist of Awami League’s ward number 5 unit in Rajbila union.
Police said a group of miscreants entered Kya Ching’s house at 2 am and abducted him at gun point.
“About an hour later, his bullet-riddled body was found at number 8 Punorbason Para,” said Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
