FM expresses solidarity with the China’s national day of mourning

Bangladeshi Foreign Minister A. K. Abdul Momen has expressed his solidarity with the China in mourning for those who died in the Coronavirus pandemic, says a ministry press release.

 In a message send to State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Dr. Momen said, ‘I am very touched to learn that  People’s Republic of China is going to observe  mourning on 4 April 2020 for the martyrs who died in fight against the fatal COVID – 19 pandemic and compatriots died of corona virus infection .’

He also expressed his deep condolences for the loss of lives due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in Wuhan city and other places in China. He conveyed his sincere sympathy for the families of the victims.

Dr. Momen assured that the people and the Government of Bangladesh are with the people and the government of China to address the crisis. He also extended his sincere thanks to Chinese Foreign Minister for taking well care of Bangladeshi citizens living in China at the tragic moment of Coronavirus outbreak.

Bangladesh Foreign Minister wishes for Chinese Foreign Minister’s good health and continued peace, progress and prosperity of China.
