PM’s DPS Khokan's father Anwar Hossain dies

Father of Prime Minister's first deputy press secretary died today (Monday) morning.
Alhaj Md Anwar Hossain, father of Ashraful Alam Khokan, the deputy press secretary-1 to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, passed away, according to United News of Bangladesh.
“He (Anwar Hossain) died of cardiac arrest at 9:40am,” said Ashraful Alam Khokan.
Anwar Hossain passed away at the age of 79 at his village home in Gazipur. He left behind two sons and two daughters as well as a host of relatives and well-wishers.
He will be laid to eternal rest at his family graveyard at Ekdala village in Kapashia upazila following his namaj-e-janaja at Taraganj Bazar of Kapasia after Asr prayers.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Anwar Hossain.
In a condolence message, she prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed his profound sorrow and shock at his death.
PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim also expressed profound shock and grief at the death of Anwar Hossain.
He and other members of the PMO Press Wing prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
